The Corte Inglés race

The race of El Corte Inglés is one of the more popular races in the world. It held its first edition in 1979, with the participation of 17,184 people. In 1994, 109,457 people participated in the race, a number which get a Guinness World Record still not beaten.

At 9.30 am on Sunday April 3rd, contestants met in Passeig de Gracia-Gran Via to cover the route. To gain access to the Olympic Stadium and run on the same pavement as the best athletes is a privilege that only the race of El Corte Ingles can offer to the competitors.

You need two and a half hours to cover the 10.766 km walking.
